Megan Gale
Gale was a winner of a modeling competition in Perth when she was just 18. After a few years of modeling, Gale rose to fame as she was selected to appear in a series of ads for the Italian telecom company called Omnitel (now Vodafone Italy) and was featured in the advertisement of the company up to 2006.She was also hired with the Australian Tourist Commission in 2003 as their face for Australia as they travelled to Italy'. Gale's cover appearances include Australian Marie Claire, Grazia and Gioia. Italian and Australian GQ as well as Maxim. Australian InStyle. Gale has also appeared in editorials for Australian Cosmopolitan, Vogue Italia as well as Australian Cosmopolitan. Gale has collaborated with Italian designers like Gianfranco Fere Genny as well as Gai Mattiolo as well as in the fashion shows for Mariella Burani Angelo Marani, and Milan Fashion Week. 9. Gale is also a fan of many Australian designers such as Colette Dinnigan, Kirrily Johnston Lisa Ho, Willow and Alex Perry. As of 2006, Gale served as presenter for the Australian TV awards known as the Logies. In January of 2008, Gale announced her retirement of runway fashion after fifteen years. She took to the catwalk for her last time only a couple of weeks later at a David Jones winter collection launch in Sydney. For her last look, she wore Wonder Woman's dress from The Justice League of America movie that never came out. Gale closed Alex Perry's Melbourne Fashion Festival 2011 show on March 11, 2011.
