Anna Silk, born January 31st, 1974 in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada, is a Canadian actress most well-known for her role as Bo on The Showcase show Lost Girl. Silk was created in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay is the producer and director of the drama of drama and production at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. Silk's father Peter, was an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. After she had converted to Judaism and they renew their vows in the Jewish ceremony on the 10th of April 2011, in Fredericton. Silk had a child who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13, 2013. Levi Aaron is her second child, and was born on 13th of May in 2016. Silk's TV work includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica in which she was awarded a Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009, she was cast as Bo Dennis, the lead role of Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant during final production of the season 3 finale and announced this to the viewers during Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk was working on Lost Girl since the third season finale episode was conceived on January 6, 2013 on Twitter, announced that she would return to the show on the 4th of June 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of fourth season. CNN's Cable News Network named her performance as Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples as one of their most-loved television Couples. E! named them as the most popular Television Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk is a popular show on social media.
